Meet Our Staff

Doug Wright- Director

Ms. Sherri- PreK Teacher

Sherri has been at Learn and Play since it opened back in 2005 and has since taught in the Preschool room. Previously Sherri has taught with Head Start and ECFE as well as ran her own in-home daycare program. In her spare time she likes to spend her time with friends and family including her 5 grandchildren.

Favorite Book: It’s the Bear.

Ms. Rosie- Toddler Teacher

Rosie has been a teacher with Learn and Play for 5 years. She has taught in all of our rooms and currently resides in the Toddler room where she has been for the majority of her time here. Rosie is an Alumni of The Mayo Clinic where she had worked for 25 years. In her spare time she enjoys being with friends and family, especially spending quality time with her 4 grandkids.

Favorite Book: Pete the Cat

Ms. Ashley- Infant Teacher

Ashley has been with Learn and Play for a year and a half. She has spent her time here as the Infant room teacher. Previously Ashley has graduated with and associates degree in Health Science from RCTC as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Premed Exercise Science from Winona State. In her spare time Ashley Enjoys being a MN gopher sports fan, being outside, and spending time with family and Friends, especially her 16 month old son.

Favorite Book: The Little Blue Truck

Ms. Debbie- Teacher

Debbie is the newest teacher addition to the Learn and Play program. She previously resided at New Horizons academy where she was an infant teacher for 2 years. Debbie has obtained a certification in early childhood development and brings a great attitude to the program. In her spare time Debbie enjoys spending time with family and friends, being at the lake, and cooking.
